Who we are

Information we collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may collect your name, contact details, device type/model, fault description, preferred booking date, repair/job reference, quotation and payment information, customer communications and information needed to carry out or administer a repair.
Device and repair data
A device may contain personal files or account information. PCHUB should only access information reasonably necessary to diagnose, test, recover or complete the agreed service. Customers should back up important data where possible and tell us about particularly sensitive data before work begins.
Why we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries, provide quotations, arrange appointments, create and manage repair records, communicate repair status, provide customer support, maintain security, meet legal/accounting obligations and improve the website and service.
Legal bases
Depending on the activity, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, or support legitimate interests such as operating and securing the repair business. Where consent is required, it can be withdrawn for future processing.
Service providers
We may use providers for website hosting, email delivery/SMTP, spam and bot protection (including Cloudflare Turnstile when configured), analytics/Google services, communications and other business systems. Providers should receive only the information necessary for their role and are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
WhatsApp and other messaging
If you contact PCHUB through WhatsApp or another third-party messaging service, that provider also processes information under its own privacy terms. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information through chat.
Retention
We keep repair, enquiry and business records only for as long as reasonably needed for the service, warranty/complaint handling, accounting, security and legal obligations. Retention periods may differ by record type.
Your UK data protection rights
Subject to the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact PCHUB first at info@mypchub.co.uk so we can address the request.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect customer and website information. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy when services, systems or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page.
