Virus & Malware Removal London

Help for Windows PCs and laptops affected by pop-ups, browser hijacking, unwanted software, suspicious remote-access tools or other signs of compromise. The priority is to contain the problem, remove unwanted software and identify practical steps to reduce the chance of immediate reinfection.

Signs of compromise

Problems that deserve a security check.

Repeated pop-ups or browser redirects
Unknown programs appearing without approval
Search engine or homepage changed unexpectedly
Security tools disabled or warnings repeatedly returning
Severe slowdown after installing suspicious software
Remote-access or scam software left on the PC
Suspicious account activity after an incident
Unwanted browser extensions or notifications
Important first steps

Protect accounts as well as the computer.

If you entered passwords, card details or banking information during a scam or suspected compromise, device cleanup alone is not enough. Change important passwords from a known-clean device and contact the relevant bank/provider where appropriate.

Do not send passwords through the quote form.
Describe the incident and symptoms. Any temporary access needed for an agreed repair should be handled separately and minimised.
Cleanup workflow

A security-led process, not a generic hardware diagnosis.

01

Understand the incident

Establish what happened, what software was installed, whether remote access was granted and which symptoms remain.

02

Scan, remove & review

Check startup items, browsers, unwanted applications and security findings, then remove or isolate identified threats where practical.

03

Update & harden

Apply relevant updates, review browser/security settings and explain any account-security actions that still need to be completed by the customer.
